Volunteering with CGNE

Ways to get involved with CGNE

Once you’ve joined the Culinary Guild of New England, you’ll be advised via emails and newsletters about Guild news, upcoming events you’ll want to attend, and much more. But we can’t do it in a vacuum !

We encourage all our members to find a way to become immersed in our organization. Some opportunities are shown below.  If any of these appeal to you, click on the Board of Directors header on this website and contact the appropriate chairperson. Together, we can make things happen.

Present a class/lecture/demonstration: If you’d care to be an instructor for a day/night, we’ll offer you the opportunity to present yourself before our members. Or, if you know someone interesting you’d care to recommend, we’re all ears.

Serve on a committee:
Our marketing, membership and programming committees are always seeking folks with ideas and skills. Tell us where you’d like to jump in and help and we’ll put you to work!

Offer your home for an event: The Guild holds events in our members’ homes all the time, so if you’d be open to using your house (or business) as a meeting spot, let us know.

Write about us:
You can help expand our reach by posting about Guild events on your own website or social media. Or, feel free to contribute to our monthly blog.

Take photos of us:
Attend any of our events and post pics on your website or on social media. Better yet, send them to us and we’ll make sure they get used on Guild platforms.

Help us garner more members and Partners:
We’re always actively recruiting new members who love food, and we always love adding new area businesses who’ll agree to offer discounts to CGNE to our Partners page on the web.  Know people ? Know likely businesses ?
