Calendar of Events: 2011 - 2012 Season

In its fourth decade as the pioneering industry force behind New England's vibrant culinary scene, the Culinary Guild of New England (CGNE) returns for another year of Supper Club, book clubs, fireside chats, culinary weekend escapes, cooking demonstrations and inspired networking events with other like-minded food enthusiasts.

A powerful network of chefs, cookbook authors, food writers, caterers and restaurant publicists - not to mention those who are simply passionate about cooking with fresh, local and seasonal ingredients, the Culinary Guild of New England expands its offerings this season to meet the needs of a younger demographic interested in connecting over a shared interest in the culinary arts.

Annual Strawberry Dessert Recipe Contest at Verrill Farm
Free for all attendees

It's a Festival and a Contest!

Get ready for some fun and competitive baking, because the judges are looking for your signature strawberry dish. Bring your favorite to wow them with. Past example include cakes, pies, cobblers, crisps, tortes, pudding, and ice creams.

It's easy and free to enter the recipe contest. Between 11:00am and 1:00pm just bring a finished strawberry dessert and attach a card to the serving dish with the recipes, your name, and your phone number.

Entries will be judged by members of the Culinary Guild of New England. Judging is from 1:15-1:30. Prizes will be awarded to one entry in each category and group.
